    • A Splash of Success: Our Amazing Colour Run!

      Published 20/03/25

What a day to remember! Our recent Colour Run was an absolute triumph, filling our school with vibrant colours, laughter, and a wonderful sense of joy. It was heartwarming to see our students and staff come together, embracing the fun while raising funds for school.

From the very first step to the final dash across the finish line, the energy was electric. Our students ran, skipped, and danced their way through clouds of colour, their faces beaming with joy. The spirit of teamwork and encouragement was truly inspiring, making it a celebration of not just fitness, but friendship and school spirit.

A huge thank you to Bolsover School Games who made this event possible. Your enthusiasm and contributions ensured that the day was a colourful success!

As we wash away the last traces of colour, the memories and impact of this event will stay with us. We look forward to making next year’s Colour Run even bigger and brighter!

Through the support of our dedicated families and community, the school raised nearly £1700, which will all be spent on additional resources for the children.

Thank you to everyone involved and thank you for all the donations. We can't wait to do this all again soon.

    • Snow Much Fun

      Published 22/11/24

This week, we experienced the season's first snowfall, covering the schools in a beautiful blanket of white and turning the surroundings into a winter wonderland. Students were spotted dressed in cosy coats, scarves, hats, and gloves, happily making snow angels and building snowmen.

Even though there was a chill in the air, the Trust was radiating warmth and good vibes! The snowflakes weren’t just cold little nuisances; they turned into a fluffy excuse for everyone to bond and bask in the holiday cheer. It was like winter sprinkled its magical fairy dust, inspiring creativity and a cosy sense of togetherness that made us all feel warm and fuzzy inside!

    • Children In Need

      Published 06/10/24

On the 14th and 15th November we celebrated Children In Need throughout the Trust. Children and staff wore non-school uniforms and Pudsey-themed outfits. Classrooms buzzed with activities, including fun competitions, all aiming to contribute to the fundraising efforts. Teachers and students worked hand in hand, showcasing creativity and generosity.

Each school had the task of filling a giant Pudsey with coins. The sight of the giant Pudsey gradually being covered in coins was a powerful visual representation of the collective effort and goodwill of the community.

By the end of the event, the Trust had raised a significant amount of money, bringing smiles and hope to many children.

Children In Need is important as it helps address the barriers to children’s attendance, learning, behaviour, and well-being and provides help and protection to children who are at risk due to neglect, domestic abuse, or disability. Plus, it connects vulnerable children to vital services that make an impact on their lives.
